We were instructed to re-render 50% of the house and repoint the other 50% in lime.
The cement pointing was removed and repointed in lime.
We removed the cement render from the brickwork walls to reveal several areas that needed to be repointed, as well as half a dozen lintels that needed to be replaced. The window render detail was lost on the cement render, however this was reinstated on the windows around the front of the property. These were decorated a slightly different shade to what the main property was decorated in.
There are still some final tasks to finish on the project including the plinth along the bottom of the wall. Once the garden has been landscaped, we will be back to complete the project.
